Hangzhou, a world-famous tourism resort and one of the central cities of China, being the host city of G20 summit and The 19th Asian Games, features advanced economy and rich culture. Hangzhou Philharmonic Orchestra (HPO) is one of China's premier musical ensembles. As the golden name card of Hangzhou culture, HPO had joined the evening performance of G20 summit and evening gala for 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. HPO had toured to 19 countries across three continents, spreading Chinese stories and Hangzhou sound to the world. For further development, HPO invites outstanding instrument players around the world to join.

II、Qualifications and Requirements

1. Applicants should obey Chinese laws and regulations, and possess good political integrity;

2. Applicants should possess high professional qualities and skills as well as team cooperation. Applicants should be in good physical and mental health, passionate and professional;

3. Chinese applicants should have a bachelor’s degree or above;

4. According to Rules for the Administration of Employment of Foreigners in China, foreign applicants should meet following conditions:

1. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree or above and provide two-year working certificates;
2. Applicants could speak fluent English.

III、Recruitment Form

1. Preliminary Assessment: Send application form and documents to hzpohr@163.com with video of applicant’s solo performance (concerto and orchestra excerpts video by applicant’s choice).

2. Audition: Candidates would be informed by email to confirm audition at Hangzhou Grand Theater.   

 IV、Application

1. Please send application form and documents to hzpohr@163.com with the subject in the following form: “Applicant’s Name + The Position Applied”. 

The documents required are as followed:

1)Application Form. (download and fill the application form at http://en.hzpo.org/download.html);

2)Video of applicant’s solo performance. Upload concerto and orchestra excerpts video by applicant’s choice on “Youku”、“Bilibili” or “WeTransfer” and attach the video link with the application form;

3)Education certificates; foreign applicants should also attach a two-year working certificate;

4)Honor certificates (if any).

2. Applicants passed preliminary assessment would be informed to attend audition with following documents:

1) Identification Proof(ID card or passport);

2) Education certificate.

VI、Related Matters

1. The employed will sign a contract with HPO;

2. HPO would provide 30-day paid leave each year;

2. HPO will cover employees’ social insurances according to the law.
